Our Team.

We're Jake and Mike, the co-founders of Highlighter. Before building Highlighter, we each faced the challenges of navigating the special education system for our own kids. We knew firsthand how overwhelming it could be—and we wanted to create the kind of support we wished we’d had. With backgrounds in education, technology, and design, we set out to build Highlighter: a tool created to empower families and transform the special education experience.
